DoveRunner's **Anti-Piracy Monitoring & Takedown** module combines web-wide, social Media piracy monitoring with an end-to-end takedown pipeline, all from a single, unified console. It lets content rights owners and distributors detect unauthorized distribution of their media assets, submit infringing links for removal, track each link through to resolution, and maintain a domain/URL whitelist to avoid accidental takedowns.

Submitted infringing links are validated by the DoveRunner team, who initiate takedown actions with the relevant hosting platforms - giving you full visibility into status and turnaround times throughout the process.

:::caution[Letter of Authorization (LOA) required before takedown]
Platforms generally will not act on a takedown request without a valid **[Letter of Authorization (LOA)](#settings---loa-management)** from the content rights owner. Obtaining a signed LOA can take time, so upload it from the **Settings** tab as early as possible - in parallel with asset registration - rather than waiting until you're ready to submit URLs.

The console is organized into five areas accessible via tabs at the top of the screen:

1. **Dashboard** - A real-time overview of both monitoring and takedown activity, with graphical insights and key performance metrics.
2. **Asset Details** - Register and manage assets, including the choice of Monitoring & Takedown, Monitoring Only, or Takedown Only for each one.
3. **Infringing URL's** - View, submit, filter, and export infringing links, and track each one's status through the takedown pipeline.
4. **Whitelist Management** - Manage trusted domains, partner platforms, and approved external websites to prevent false positives during monitoring.
5. **Settings** - Upload and manage the Letter of Authorization (LOA) files required to authorize takedown requests.

## Asset Details

The **Asset Details** tab lets you register and manage the content assets you want DoveRunner to monitor, take down infringing links for, or both. Every asset is displayed in a structured table view showing its configuration and current monitoring status.

### Asset Table Columns

| Column | Description |
| :----- | :---------- |
| **Asset Name** | The official title of the registered content. |
| **Media Type** | `Video on Demand` or `Live Streaming`. |
| **Content Type** | The classification of the asset (e.g., Movie, TV Series). |
| **Monitoring Start** | The date monitoring begins for this asset. |
| **Monitoring End** | The date monitoring concludes for this asset. |
| **Monitoring Status** | `ON` or `OFF`. |
| **Release Date** | The official public release date of the content. |
| **Asset Actions** | Edit, Start/Stop Monitoring, and Clone icons (see below). |

Click anywhere on a row to open a **View Asset Details** panel with the full record - Asset Name, Asset Type, Media Type, Content Type, Copyright Owner Names, Original Language, Content Language, Region, Exclusive Countries, Exclusive Asset, Official URL, IMDb ID (if available), Comments, Monitoring Status, Release Date, Rights Expiration Date, Monitoring Start/End Date & Time, and OTT Broadcast/Release Date & Time.

### Choosing an Asset Type

Every asset you register falls into one of three types, selected as a tab inside the registration form:

| **Monitoring and Takedown Assets** | Assets that need both piracy detection and takedown enforcement. | Yes - Start/Stop Monitoring available. |
| **Monitoring Assets** | Assets you only want to monitor for piracy, with no takedown action. | Yes - Start/Stop Monitoring available. |
| **Takedown Assets** | Assets you're submitting infringing URLs for directly, without ongoing web monitoring. | No - takedown-only assets have no Start/Stop Monitoring control. |

### Registering an Asset

1. Click the **Register Asset** button in the top-right corner of the Asset Details tab.

2. In the registration drawer, make sure the **Monitoring and Takedown Assets** tab is selected.

3. Choose the **Video on Demand** content type toggle.
4. Fill in all required fields. The following date validation rules apply:

   | Rule | Constraint |
   | :--- | :--------- |
   | Release Date | Cannot be after the Rights Expiration, Monitoring Start, Monitoring End, OTT Broadcast, or OTT Release date. |
   | Rights Expiration Date | Cannot be before the Release, Monitoring Start, Monitoring End, OTT Broadcast, or OTT Release date. |
   | Monitoring Start Date | Cannot equal Monitoring End Date; cannot be before Release Date or after Monitoring End/Rights Expiration Date. |
   | Monitoring End Date | Cannot be before Monitoring Start Date or Release Date; cannot be after Rights Expiration Date. |
   | OTT Broadcast / OTT Release Dates | Cannot be before Release Date or after Rights Expiration Date. |

5. Once all data is entered and valid, click **Register Asset**.
6. The asset appears in the asset table.

:::note[Live Streaming]
Live Streaming registration on the **Monitoring and Takedown Assets** tab is not currently self-serve - selecting the Live Streaming toggle shows a **Contact Sales** prompt instead of the form. Self-serve Live Streaming registration is only available on the **Takedown Assets** tab (see below).

### Registering a Live Streaming Asset (Takedown Assets tab)

If you need to submit takedown requests for a live broadcast, use the **Takedown Assets** tab instead - it's the only tab with self-serve Live Streaming registration:

1. Click **Register Asset** and open the **Takedown Assets** tab.
2. Toggle the content type to **Live Streaming**.
3. Fill in **Asset Name**, **Copyright Owner Names**, and **Official URL** (Comments is optional).
4. Click **Register Asset**.

:::note
Ensure the asset's monitoring/takedown window aligns with the scheduled broadcast - since Takedown Assets have no monitoring lifecycle, this is really about the window during which submitted URLs will be actioned.

### Editing an Asset

1. Click the **Pencil (Edit)** icon in the Asset Actions column for the asset you want to modify.

2. The edit form opens with current details pre-populated (the asset-type tab is locked to whichever type the asset already is).

3. Make the desired changes and click **Update Asset**.

### Start / Stop Monitoring

The centre icon in Asset Actions toggles monitoring for assets of type Monitoring and Takedown or Monitoring Only (not shown for Takedown Only assets, which have no monitoring lifecycle):

- Click the **Start icon** (circled play button, centre icon in Asset Actions) for the relevant asset.

- A pop up appears to select the Monitoring end date, after choosing the date press START MONITORING button which sets the status to **ON**.

- **Stop Monitoring** (red stop icon, shown when status is ON) - sets Monitoring Status to **OFF** immediately.

Stopping monitoring does not delete the asset. It remains in the table and can be restarted at any time.
:::

### Cloning an Asset

1. Click the **Clone** icon (copy icon) in the Asset Actions column.

2. A registration form opens pre-filled with the original asset's settings - except **Asset Name** and **Official URL**, which must be unique.

3. Enter the new Asset Name and Official URL, adjust any other fields as needed, and click **Register Asset**.

Cloning is useful when registering multiple similar assets (e.g., episodes of the same series or recurring live events) with identical configurations.

### Filtering Assets

Use the filter controls above the asset table, then click **Search**:

| **Search Title** | Filter assets by name (multi-select). |
| **Duration** | Filter by Last 7 Days / Last 1 Month / Last 6 Months / a custom date range. |
| **Monitoring Status** | Filter by ON or OFF. |
| **Asset Type** | Filter by Monitoring and Takedown / Monitoring Only / Takedown Only. |

### Pagination

Use the **Rows per page** dropdown at the bottom of the table to set how many assets are shown per page, and the arrow buttons to navigate between pages.

## Infringing URL's

The **Infringing URL's** tab is where infringing links are submitted, tracked, and exported - combining piracy detection with the takedown pipeline in a single searchable table.

### Infringing URL Table Columns

| Column | Description |
| :----- | :---------- |
| **Asset Name** | The asset associated with the infringing URL. |
| **URL** | The full URL of the infringing link. |
| **Date** | The date and time the URL was detected or submitted. |
| **Status** | The URL's current stage in the takedown pipeline (see below). |

### URL Status Values

| Status | Meaning |
| :----- | :------ |
| **Identified** | The link has been detected but no takedown action has started yet. |
| **Processing** | A takedown request for this link is in progress. |
| **Delisted** | The link has been removed from search-engine results. |
| **Taken down** | The infringing content itself has been removed. |

### Submitting Infringing URLs

1. Click the **Add URLs** button in the top-right corner of the Infringing URL's tab.
2. In the **Add Infringing URLs** panel:
   - Select the relevant **Asset** from the dropdown (only assets eligible for takedown are listed).
   - Enter the infringing links in the **Infringing URLs** box, one URL per line.
3. Click **Submit URLs**.
4. Submitted links appear in the table with status **Identified**, and any that failed validation are listed separately so you can correct and resubmit them.

Ensure each URL is entered on a separate line. Only URLs associated with the selected asset will be accepted.

You can submit up to **500 URLs per batch**, up to a total of **1,000 identified links** across your account. Contact **contact@doverunner.com** to raise these limits.

### Filtering Infringing URLs

Use the **Filter** button (top-right, shows an active-filter count) plus the standalone **URL Pattern** search box, then click **Search**:

| **Asset Name** | Filter by the associated asset. |
| **Date** | Last 7 Days / Last 1 Month / Last 6 Months / a custom range. |
| **Monitoring Status** | Filter by Identified, Processing, Delisted, or Taken down. |
| **Submitted By** | **My Submissions** (submitted by you/your team) or **Back Office** (identified/submitted by DoveRunner). |
| **URL Pattern** | Search for URLs containing a specific pattern or substring. |

### Exporting Infringing URLs

1. Apply any desired filters to narrow the list.
2. Click the **Export as CSV** button in the top-right corner.
3. A CSV file containing the filtered URL data downloads to your device.

### Pagination

Use the **Rows per page** dropdown at the bottom of the table and the arrow buttons to navigate between pages.

## Whitelist Management

The **Whitelist Management** tab lets you define URLs and domains that are legitimate and should not be flagged as infringing - such as authorized partner channels, licensed platforms, and external websites with rights to your content. This works the same way regardless of which asset types are registered on your account.

### Whitelist Table Columns

| Column | Values | Description |
| :----- | :----- | :---------- |
| **ID** | Numeric | Auto-generated unique identifier for the entry. |
| **URL** | Full URL or domain | The whitelisted URL or domain. |
| **Type** | `DOMAIN` / `PARTNER` / `EXTERNAL` | Category of the whitelisted entry. |
| **Status** | `Active` / `Inactive` | Whether the entry is currently enforced. |
| **Created At** | Timestamp | Date and time the entry was created. |
| **Actions** | Edit / Delete icons | Edit or disable/enable the entry. |

### URL Types

| Type | Description | Example |
| :--- | :---------- | :------ |
| **PARTNER** | Officially licensed distribution channels or authorized social media pages. | `https://www.facebook.com/wavemusicofficial` |
| **DOMAIN** | Trusted root domains whose sub-pages should all be excluded. Enter without `http/https`. | `google.com`, `*.bola.com` |
| **EXTERNAL** | Licensed third-party external websites that legally host your content. | `https://internet-television.net` |

### Adding Whitelisted URLs - Manual Entry

1. Click the **+ Add Whitelisted URL** button in the top-right corner.
2. In the panel that opens, ensure the **Manual Entry** tab is selected.

3. Enter your URLs in the appropriate fields:

   | Field | Format | Example |
   | :---- | :----- | :------ |
   | **Partner Whitelist** | One full URL per line | `https://www.youtube.com/@sctv` |
   | **Whitelist Domains** | One domain per line (no `http/https`) | `maxstream.tv` |
   | **External Websites to be Whitelisted** | One full URL per line | `https://cubmu.com` |

4. Click **Submit URLs** to save all entries.

### Adding Whitelisted URLs - File Upload

1. Click the **+ Add Whitelisted URL** button and select the **File Upload** tab.

2. Download the provided **template** or **template with examples** to ensure your file is in the correct format.
3. Populate the template with your whitelist data and save it.
4. Upload the completed file using the file upload control.
5. Click **Submit URLs** to process and save the uploaded entries.

### Editing a Whitelisted Entry

1. Click the **Edit (Pencil)** icon in the Actions column next to the entry to modify.
2. Update the URL or other details as needed.
3. Confirm the changes to save.

### Disabling and Re-enabling Entries

Rather than permanently deleting a whitelisted entry, you can disable it temporarily:

- **To disable:** Click the **Delete (Trash)** icon in the Actions column. The icon changes to a **Tick Mark (✓)**, indicating the entry is now inactive.
- **To re-enable:** Click the **Tick Mark** icon to restore the entry to Active status.

Disabling a whitelist entry does not permanently remove it. It remains in the table and can be re-enabled at any time.

### Filtering Whitelist Entries

Use the filter dropdowns above the table to narrow results:

### Exporting Whitelist Data

Click the **Export as CSV** button in the top-right corner to download all currently displayed whitelist entries as a CSV file.

## Dashboard

The **Dashboard** tab consolidates both monitoring and takedown data into at-a-glance metrics and charts.

### Date Range and Aggregation Controls

| Control | Description |
| :------ | :---------- |
| **7 Days** | Show data for the past 7 days. |
| **30 Days** | Show data for the past 30 days *(default)*. |
| **6 Months** | Show data for the past 6 months. |
| **Custom** | Select a custom date range via calendar picker. |
| **Daily** | Break down charts by individual days. |
| **Weekly** | Break down charts by week. |
| **Monthly** | Break down charts by month *(default)*. |
| **Refresh** | Manually refresh the dashboard data. |

### Summary Metrics

| Metric | Description |
| :----- | :---------- |
| **Total Assets** | Total number of content assets registered on the account. |
| **Total Links** | Total infringing URLs identified within the selected date range. |
| **Take Down** | Total number of infringing URLs taken down within the selected date range. |
| **Take Down %** | Percentage of identified links that have been taken down. |

### Asset Infringement Overview

Ranks your assets by number of infringing links identified - Rank (#), Asset Name, and No. of Links Identified. Use the pagination arrows to browse all assets and prioritize where to focus takedown effort.

### Domain Count

A bar chart of infringing-link counts per hosting domain within the selected date range, with a horizontal scroll for accounts with many domains.

### Overall Removal TAT

A bar chart showing how many takedowns fall into each turnaround-time bucket - **00:00-06:00**, **06:00-12:00**, **12:00-24:00**, and **Above 24** hours - so you can see how quickly infringing links are actually being removed.

### Trend Analysis

A Daily/Weekly/Monthly table and companion trend chart tracking **Total Links**, **Take down count**, and **Take Down %** over time, so you can see whether takedown throughput is keeping pace with new detections.

## Settings - LOA Management

The **Settings** tab is where you upload and manage the **Letter of Authorization (LOA)** - the signed document from the content rights owner that authorizes DoveRunner to submit takedown notices on your behalf.

### Why an LOA Is Required

To initiate takedown actions, DoveRunner requires a valid LOA from the content rights owner or an authorized representative. It serves as formal authorization permitting DoveRunner to act on the rights holder's behalf when submitting DMCA complaints and other legal notices to platforms hosting infringing content.

Without this authorization, platforms typically will not process takedown requests, since proof of ownership or representation is mandatory for legal compliance. Providing a valid LOA ensures requests are actioned promptly, reduces the risk of rejection, and lets DoveRunner enforce content protection effectively across multiple platforms - so upload one as early as possible, in parallel with asset registration.

1. Open the **Settings** tab and click the **LOA Management** button.

2. Choose the LOA type: **Yearly** (covers the current calendar year) or **Monthly** (covers the current month).

3. Click the upload area and select your signed LOA file.
4. Click **Upload LOA**.

### File Requirements

- PDF format only.
- Maximum size 5 MB.

### Managing LOA Files

The LOA Management panel lists previously uploaded files for the selected type - **File Name**, **Type**, **Upload Date**, and **Actions**:

- **Download** - retrieves the file for review.
- **Delete** - permanently removes the file, after a confirmation dialog.

## Account Limits

The following caps apply as observed in the console:

- **Asset Limit:** up to 2 registered at a time.
- **Infringing URLs Limit:** up to 500 per submission batch, and up to 1,000 identified links in total across the account.
- **Duration:** The trial period is valid for 1 month starting from the date of account creation.
- **Validity:** Links/URLs not related to a registered asset will not be processed.
- **Live Streaming** self-serve registration is currently available only for Takedown Only assets; Monitoring and Monitoring & Takedown Live Streaming assets require contacting Sales.
