**Active Devices** reports the number of unique devices running a protected app — the console describes it as *Unique active devices information*. It is the denominator for everything on the threat pages: 10,000 detections means something very different against 20,000 devices than against 20 million.

Open **Mobile App Security → Analytics → Active Devices**.

## Filters

| Filter | Description |
| :----- | :---------- |
| **Sealing Mode** | `Test` or `Release`. |
| **Operating System** | `Android` or `iOS`. |
| **Application** | The app to report on. |

**Note:** 
There is no Period filter here. Each widget carries its own range selector instead.


## Widgets

Both widgets follow the same layout: a range selector, the total for that range, the change against the previous range, the average per interval, and a chart.

### Daily Active Devices

Ranges: **LAST 7 DAYS**, **THIS MONTH**, **LAST MONTH**, **CUSTOM**.

The headline figure is the total for the selected range, followed by the percentage change and the **average daily active devices for selected period**. The chart plots devices per day.

### Monthly Active Devices

Ranges: **LAST 3 MONTHS**, **LAST 6 MONTHS**, **LAST 12 MONTHS**, **CUSTOM**.

Same figures at monthly granularity, with the **average monthly active devices for selected period** and a chart of devices per month.

**Note:** 
Device counts are collected only while an app's **Service** toggle is on. If a figure looks unexpectedly low, check that the service is still enabled for that app in [App Configurations](https://docs.doverunner.com/mobile-app-security/android/android-app-configurations/).
