What’s New

  • Added --kms_query_params option to pass custom query parameters to KMS URLs, enabling flexible KMS integration without modifying core configurations.

  • Added --encrypt_audio option to explicitly enable audio track encryption in multi-key packaging workflows, giving operators finer control over per-track encryption policy.

What’s Changed

  • Updated the underlying Shaka Packager engine to v3.7.0, incorporating upstream stability improvements and format support enhancements.

  • Audio tracks are now excluded from encryption by default in multi-key packaging; use --encrypt_audio to opt in where full-track encryption is required.

  • Content information is no longer automatically embedded in the manifest; this is now an opt-in feature to reduce unintended metadata exposure in packaged output.
